A Better way to donate
We strive to maximize the gift of donation for disease research as our priority
95% of all whole body donations are not used for disease research because these types of donations are time-sensitive, logistically difficult, and technically demanding. Instead, all donor programs use the vast majority of their donors for medical education. Bright Bioservices is specifically designed to accept registered donors for disease research if they arrive at our facility within 8-12 hours of death.
We have dedicated staff standing by 24/7 to ensure the gift is recovered to matched projects and/or for future use
Bright Bioservices will do everything they can to ensure the gift is matched with the research that honors the donor's wishes. We have also partnered with a qualified surgical education network with facilities located throughout the United States to maximize the gift once the disease research recovery has been completed.

Located in Peoria, Arizona, Bright Bioservices only serves the greater Maricopa County at this time, which ensures that we can have the donor reach our facility within a few hours of death.
Your whole body donation will not be sent outside the United States
Bright Bioservices will never send your whole body donation outside the United States. The body will only be used within a closed system of surgical education facilities located within the United States. However, small tissue samples recovered for research sent to reputable facilities may be sent outside the United States. International collaboration is essential for developing therapies to combat debilitating diseases.
Though international work on whole bodies is essential, there is an inherent risk when transporting a whole body or body parts overseas. The legitimate use, disposition, and appropriate venues are always areas where serious problems can occur. The safest destination for our loved ones' bodies is always within the confines of our borders, where US laws are the most stringent in the world.
